Closing Cinemaking International Film Festival

Staff Reporter : The Cinemaking International Film festival started on December 24 and ended on the evening of December 26.

CIFF founder and Festival Director Monjurul Islam Megh informed that 150 films from 54 countries and 27 film from Bangladesh has selected for competition in 11 categories in this time. We give 17 international best ward from eight competition categories.

The main competition section for International Feature film Competition, this section has given 10 international best awards.  Best International Film “The Single Tumbler” from Sri Lanka.

Best Asian Film “Girl and the Sea” directed by Azizzhan Zairov, Mukhamed Mamyrbekov from Kazakhstan, Best Asian director Apurba Kishor Bir for “Antardhwani” from India. Best European Film “I’Father, directed by Mark Norfolk from Kosovo. Best European Director Gultekin Bayir for “Bir Denizcinin Dogum Gunu” from Turkey. Best International Actor Yashpal Sharma for acting in the “Mooso the Mouse” Best International Actress Swapna Pati for acting in the “Antardhwani” from India. Best Original Score for “The Final Code” from Italy. Best Cinematography for “Boluomi” from Taiwan. Best Screenplay for “Colorless Dreams” from Uzbekistan

Best Bangladeshi Full-length film “A biography of Nazrul” directed by Ferdous Khan.

Best international mobile film “Endless Walk” directed by Yan Paing Htum from Myanmar. Best Bangladeshi mobile film “Mother” directed by Anondo Khaled.

Best International Short film “The Fiber” directed Nubelia Leyva Ferrer, Sorangel Solano Clever from Cuba. Best Bangladeshi short film “Separation” directed by Aparajita Sangita.

Best International Documentary “A Gift from God” directed by Jorgen Lorentzen, Nafise Ozkal Lorentzen from Norway. Best International Kids Filmmaker Sandro Kintsureshvili for “Take It” from Georgia.

Best International Award is Trophy and Certificate.
