Opening film of CIFF is Antardhwani

Staff Reporter : Opening film of CIFF is Antardhwani The Cinemaking International Film Festival 2020 will be inaugurated on December 24 following all the health guidelines amid corona pandemic. The closing ceremony of the festival will be held on December 26. More than 400 films from more than 70 countries submitted for the film festival where 150 films from 54 countries and 28 films from Bangladesh are selected for competition in 11 categories in this time.
 
Actor Tutul Chowdhury as a Festival Chairman, Actor Moin Khan as a Co-chairman and CIFF Founder, Filmmaker Monjurul Islam Megh as Festival Director is appointed for upcoming Cinemaking International Film Festival. CIFF 2020 organized by Dhaka Festival in associated with Cinemaking where Masud Mancho and Rushda Films will serve as festival partner.
Festival Director Monjurul Islam Megh informed that selected 178 films will be screened for the jury only due to corona pandemic. Indian Eminent filmmaker Padma Shri Winner Apurba Kishor Bir’s film “Antardhawni” will be screened as an Opening film. Bollywood Heroin Swapna Pati were lead casting while this film was premiered in Canne film Festival in 2019. European eminent filmmaker Gultekin Bayir’s “Bir Denizcinin Dogum Gunu” will be the closing film and Bangladeshi young filmmaker Nanziba Khan’s “The Unwanted Twin” will be Special Screening in December 26.
Second day of Festival in December 25, “Kids films Show Day”. Venue open for kids with their guardian, they will see kids Filmmaker’s film by free ticket, but they need to register them. Three day long Cinemaking International Film Festival will held on Masud Mancho, Dania in the capital of the Bangladesh.
